Analyzing Utility Rates and Invoices

This session will review various terminology and electrical rate structures used by different utility companies around the country. In addition, we will discuss the various charges associated with a sample bill, how to audit same to verify charges, and calculations / use of ‘blended’ electrical rates in energy savings calculations. Finally, we will briefly discuss forecasting of future energy costs utilizing the government’s Energy Escalation Rate Calculator (EERC).
