Level up with a powerful energy credential. This one-and-a-half day seminar helps EMP Certification candidates review the energy management process, and how it can be applied . The EMP Seminar features 12 hours of actionable instruction covering all relevant energy aspects from codes and standards and managerial planning to monitoring project performance and persistence of savings. Instructors will walk through sample equations and scenarios with the class, with the exam being administered on the final day to approved candidates. The seminar is open to non-candidates. Breakfast and lunch are provided both days.

Fees
The total cost to attend is $1,050, which also covers application and exam fees. Companies who have staff member successfully pass the Energy Management Professionals exam are invited to join as EMA Corporate Members. Corporate Membership dues are $500 a year. Non certification candidates can register for the seminar only for $800.
Exam
EMP Certification
All EMP Seminar attendees must submit an EMP application at least two weeks in advance. Seminar registrants who paid the $1,050 fee do not need to submit payment with an EMP application.

Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Robert Knoedler is an executive consultant and vice president at Hanson Professional Services and past president of the Energy Management Association (EMA). He has spent over 40 years as a consultant in mechanical/electrical facility design, commissioning, and energy management. Bob has presented to numerous private and governmental organizations and has published a number of articles related to energy management and commissioning.
