The Authorities in Certification to Exhibit at NFMT East

Presenting on The Hidden Power of O&M, the ACG Cx Guideline, Maximizing the Value of TAB, and more

The Associated Air Balance Council (AABC), the AABC Commissioning Group, and the Energy Management Association will exhibit at NFMT East 2026, hosted in Charlotte, NC, in booth 1814.

Each of the three groups will also present sessions on NFMT’s technical program.

AABC’s appearance will include two presentations led by board member Jeremy Johnson, TBE, CxA (American Testing, Inc.). The first is Maximizing the Value of Testing, Adjusting & Balancing in Existing Buildings (March 10, 8:30 a.m. – 9:20 a.m.; Location W207AB), which will explore TAB strategies for facility managers overseeing existing buildings, helping attendees understand how to leverage TAB for improved system performance, energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and regulatory compliance. The second, titled Fundamentals of Test, Adjust, and Balance for Engineers, Cx & Energy Providers (March 11, 4:40 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.; Location W206A), will discuss the TAB process and other challenges as they relate to the engineer, Cx or energy provider perspective and explore how addressing these challenges with an independent TAB firm can ensure that a project goes smoothly.

AHR attendees can also learn more about commissioning best practices in the ACG Building Systems Commissioning Guideline Overview (March 11, 3:40 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Location W206A) presented by ACG board member Troy Byers, P.E., TBE, CxA, LEED AP (Cx Solutions, LLC).

EMA board member Lee Huffines, P.E., CxA, EMP (Commissioning WorCx), will present The Hidden Power of O&M: Practical Tools for Real Energy Savings (March 12, 8:30 a.m. – 9:20 a.m.; Location W206A), which will equip building personnel with actionable techniques to optimize operations, reduce waste, and enhance system performance.

ACG, EMA, and AABC are presenting organizations of CxEnergy 2026, the premier event in commissioning, TAB, and energy management (April 21-24, Chicago, IL). Attendees of the Technical Program can earn continuing education credits for presentations covering artificial intelligence, case studies in commissioning and energy management for buildings and facilities, market sector case studies, smoke control systems, energy savings through performance-based ventilation, MEP and BECx partnerships, and more.
